We’ll take you from 3 blocks to 3.1 miles in eight weeks! Join us for this supportive training program for beginning runners and walkers. Offered for various races year round.
Speed School (2 hrs)
Learn the nuances of various types of speed work such as hill repeats, intervals & tempo runs, along with how your heart rate monitor can guide you during the workouts. Bi-monthly.
Heart Rate Seminar (2 hrs)
Learn about how to use your heart rate monitor in your training. Estimate your zones & practice pacing. Bi-monthly.

Base Camp (6 wks)
Interested in doing a marathon or half marathon but want to build up your mileage before training officially begins? Or do you just want to have a stronger base to train for a 5k or 10k? This base camp is for you! Appropriate for runners and walkers.
New for 2009 - Family Nights!! Join us the first Wednesday of every month for a fun, family-oriented workout for kids AND their parents. Meet at Run Gear Run at 6:00 pm. Kids will receive a Running Report Card to earn free prizes, too!
